We conceived this exhibition two years ago after the author's Lviv retrospective at Ya Gallery under the name "YA MO" - this is how he signs his works abbreviated
"A little bit erotic" or "very erotic" - about physicality, intimacy, eroticism and sexuality
Fresh sculptures and drawings created in 2023-2024. It is mostly manual modeling from fireclay clay, rough masses and expressiveness of expression, reluctance to smooth the surface - makes the works as modern and monumental as possible.
At the exhibition you will see the piquant and at the same time desirable, intriguing in art.
Without exaggeration, Yaroslav Motyka is a living legend. This is creativity itself, this is an open source of inspiration, this is the wise energy of a sleeping volcano.
