Exhibition mashine/ sculptures in the Kivsh creative cluster
This year, for the first time in a grand post-industrial space, we are showing the special project of the Lviv Sculpture Week "Sculptures / Machines" - a dialogue between the remnants of old equipment and new sculptural works and installations that will take your breath away!
"Kivsh" is a fairly new creative location in Lviv, which has a deep history. The barracks of the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the workshops of the Autoloader plant completed in Soviet times, have not been used since the beginning of the restoration of Independence. However, the founder of "Kivsha" Andriy Gavryliv transforms abandoned buildings into a modern and attractive creative location.
The newly restored Shevchenka Street leads to Kivsh, which doubles as a street sculpture gallery, which was supplemented by one sculpture in 2024
The rough space of the hangar with an area of 1500 m2 without a single support column inside is impressive in itself. In it, we offer to hear the dialogue between the machine and the sculpture, find connections and discover a new location for yourself - a 30-minute walk from the Opera House.
