Kateryna Kuznetsova was born in 1967 in Dnipropetrovsk.
Valeriy Kuznetsov was born in 1968 in Cherepovets, Russia.
In 1994 in Dnipropetrovsk Kateryna and Valeriy Kuznetsov created a studio "decorkuznetsov". The authors intended it to be "a mixture of fantasy and humor, art and functional design, permanent motion and, of course, game". They are participants and winners of many contests and exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad.
In 2004 the authors' works were displayed in German museum "Red Dot" in Essen - the world's biggest collection of contemporary design achievements. Ессен - одному з найбільших у світі зібрань досягнень сучасного дизайну. Since 2012 they cooperate with Ya Gallery ("I'll Finish Painting Tomorrow" personal exhibition). Participants of collective project "Muzychi Christmas Art Fair" in Dnipropetrovsk and "Neofolk project" - Ya Gallery's visual art program at GOGOLFEST-2012. In 2014 authors' works joined the visual part of new media and urban audio-visual art fest "Construction".
Artworks by "decorkuznetsov" studio can be found in a museum collection of Rietveld Schröder House (Amsterdam), as well as in private collections in the USA, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Finland, Germany, Portugal etc.
